Acetaminophen toxicity resulting in fulminant hepatic failure, explanted liver. There is extensive zone 2 and 3 necrosis and a few acidophil bodies (arrow) are present in zone 1 (periportal). Steatosis and balloon cells are also seen in the viable areas.
