Bio 

Chris VandenBussche is an Associate Professor of Pathology and Oncology, the Associate Director of Cytopathology, and the Cytopathology Fellowship Director at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree at the College of William and Mary followed by a combined MD/PhD at Georgetown University School of Medicine and the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. He completed his anatomic and clinical pathology residency followed by cytopathology fellowship at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

 

Dr. VandenBussche is an expert in genitourinary cytopathology. He has published 7 books and more than 100 journal articles, and has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally. He was the committee lead for two chapters for The Paris System for Reporting Urinary Cytology 2.0 (forthcoming) and the committee lead for the Pelvic Washings chapter of The International System for Reporting Serous Fluid Cytopathology. He is a member of the CAP Cytopathology Committee and serves on numerous editorial boards.
