Case of the Week

History: This sample is from a thigh mass that arose in a 25 year old man. What is your diagnosis?

Answer: Low grade fibromyxoid sarcoma.


Comment: These tumors used to be confused with fibromatoses, but with modern immunohistochemistry, they are easily detected. Two classic references and a more recent one are provided.
