Russell body gastritis (carditis herein) is essentially an incidental finding unrelated to plasma cell disorders. However, if PAS stains are routinely performed, the PAS-positive immunoglobulin in the plasma cells can result in concern for adenocarcinoma. www.innovativesciencepress.com
