Alcides Chaux, MD is currently the Chief Data Scientist and Director of the Department of Scientific Research at Norte University, Asunción, Paraguay. In addition, he is an active researcher at the National Council of Science and Technology of the Republic of Paraguay. He is also a former research fellow of the Pathology Department at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore. Dr Chaux's research interests include the identification and evaluation of molecular biomarkers in genitourinary tumors and the development of prognostic models for predicting clinical outcome and therapeutic response using machine learning.
